SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB women's soccer team dominated against Arizona Christian on Thursday morning, winning by a score of 8-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Yotes' eight-goal performance is tied for fourth most in a game in program history.
The program record belongs to the 1990 squad that scored an incredible 14 goals in a single game against the University of La Verne. It has been nearly 21 years since the Yotes have scored eight goals in a game, and 34 years since they have done it on their home turf.

An impressive eight different Coyotes scored en route to the win, including:

Of the eight Yotes that scored against ACU, three of them scored the first goal of their collegiate career. This included freshmen Perez, Santa Maria, and Solis. In addition, freshman Mahfoud scored her third goal in as many games, tied for second most in the CCAA.

Kayla Ceballos were blessed with a strong Coyote defense, as the team allowed only one shot on goal throughout the entire game.
The Yotes are back in action on Saturday, September 10
th, at 2:00 PM in San Diego against the Point Loma Sea Lions. CSUSB's next home game will be Saturday, September 17
th, at 11:30 AM against Cal State San Marcos.
