SEASIDE, Calif. – The CSUSB men's soccer team narrowly fell to Cal State Monterey Bay on Friday night by a score of 1-0. With the loss, the Yotes fall to 4-2-3 on the season with a 0-2-1 record in the CCAA.
The Yotes and the Otters put on an even display of talent on Friday night. Both teams attempted seven shots with four on goal. The only difference came when CSUMB was able to convert one of their shots into what would be the only goal of the game in the 39
th minute.
Of the Yotes seven shots, four came from leading scorer
Nicklaus Sullivan. The Yotes' best opportunity to score came early in the second half when they attempted five shots in a span of 10 minutes. But the CSUMB goalkeeper would stop their offensive effort by making three saves.
