SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Just as the women's soccer team did in the matinee game, the CSUSB men's soccer team tied with Cal State East Bay in a scoreless 0-0 game on Sunday afternoon. With the tie, the Yotes now hold a 4-1-3 (.688) record on the season with a 0-1-1 record in conference play.

The Yotes' best opportunity to score came early in the second half, when they were able to attempt four shots within a span of six minutes while keeping the ball on the Pioneers' half the entire stretch. This offensive push was capped by the closest almost-goal of the day, when the Yotes' leading scorer
Nicklaus Sullivan redirected a ball in mid-air inside the box and into the hands of CSUEB's goalkeeper.

In total, the Yotes had an impressive 15 shots in the game, with eight being on goal. Of those, 11 came in the second half.

Despite not converting any of these shots into a goal, the Yotes' offense dictated the pace of the game. The Pioneers were only able to attempt four shots with only one on goal, which was saved by none other than
Aiden Hanes.
