AZUSA, Calif. – The CSUSB men's soccer team defeated Azusa Pacific on Friday night by a score of 1-0, continuing their undefeated start to the season and improving their record to 3-0-2. The Cougars fall to 2-3-1, with all three of their losses coming to CCAA schools that received votes in the latest
Top 25 poll.
Nicklaus Sullivan scored his team-leading third goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 61
st minute. The keeper initially dove right, allowing Sullivan to fire a shot into a wide-open left side of the net for the first, and only, goal of the game.

Aiden Hanes continued to impress, recording a season-high eight saves en route to his third shutout of the season. Hanes now ranks fourth in all of NCAA Division II in save percentage, recording 27 saves to just two goals allowed (.931).
