PUEBLO, Colo. – CSUSB closed the 2021-2022 season with one tournament victory, two second place finishes, and placed in the top 10 in each tournament they competed in. The Yotes traveled to Pueblo, Colorado to compete in the NCAA Super Regional against 20 other Division II programs.
Brian Nielsen and
Mark Williams led the pack scoring an overall 212 for a tie for 20
th place of 108 golfers. Nielsen scored a one-under par 70, one-under par 70, and a one-over 72 on the tournament. Williams came back from a four-over 74 on the first round to score a one-under par 70 and a three-under par 68 to close the tournament.
Jetty Sivongsay scored a total of 218 with a score of five-over par 76, one-under par 70, and a one-over par 71. On the 71-par 6,522 yard course, CSUSB scored a total of 860 points, +8 points from first place. The Yotes closed the NCAA Super Regional with a 12
th place finish.

Kyle Emerson was selected CCAA Coach of the Year, first coach in program history, and
Mark Williams was also named to First Team All-CCAA.
