TURLOCK, Calif. – The Yotes closed the busy five game weekend against the Hawaii Pacific University Sharks. The game was neck and neck until the sixth inning where CSUSB crossed the plate for the single homerun of the game. Yotes won their last game and closed the series with a 3-2 record.
Brooklyn Blackmon pitched another complete game collecting five strikeouts for her sixth win of the year. CSUSB collected eight hits, four assists and one RBI. The biggest hit of the game was by
Alyssa Rodriguez who doubled and connected on two hits on the game.
Alyssa Beck hit the single to left field that brought home Hayden Green for the winning run. CSUSB defeated the Sharks, 1-0.
CSUSB is scheduled to play their next doubleheader on Friday, April 8
th with first pitch at 1 p.m. at the CSUSB Softball Park against Cal St. Monterey Bay. Streaming is available on the ccaanetwork.com.
