CARSON, Calif. – The Yotes closed their series against the Cal St. Dominguez Hills Toros with a win. CSUSB had a big four run second inning to take the lead and never let up on the Toros. The Yotes won, 7-6.
Leading pitcher was
Raul Salazar who pitched six innings for three strikeouts on 96 pitches. The Yotes collected 13 hits, seven RBIs, and 12 assists. The biggest hit of the game was by Parker Riley who singled to left center for a two RBI.
Both
Giovanni Del Negro and
AJ Barraza lead the Yotes in hits as they connected for three on the game. Barraza also an RBI.
Deshawn Johnson connected on two hits and had two RBIs on the game.
Riley Parker led the pack in RBIs as he collected three RBIs on two hits.
With CSUSB up by a single run in the bottom of the ninth
Oscar Rauda pitched a strikeout to seal the victory for the Yotes and was credited for the save.
