SEASIDE, Calif. – The Yotes closed their series against the Cal St. Monterey Bay Otters with a single game. CSUSB was first on the scoreboard, but the Otters would remain close behind eventually taking the lead and the win, 3-2.
The Lead pitcher for the Yotes was
Raul Salazar who pitched for six innings and 103 pitches collecting one strikeout and three earned runs. For the second time this series,
Jake Borst hit a home run on his first at bat to put CSUSB on the board. Borst closed the series with three home runs hit against the Otters.
In a very close game against the No. 1 CCAA Cal St. Monterey Bay, the now No. 4 CCAA Yotes collected five hits for a single RBI on the game. The biggest hit of the game was by
Riley Parker who hit a double at the top of the fourth.
The Yotes are scheduled for their next game on Friday, April 29th at 3 p.m. at Fiscalini Field against Cal State East Bay. The game will be streamed on the ccaanetwork.com.
