SEASIDE, Calif. – The Yotes played the first game of their series against the Cal St. Monterey Bay in Seaside. CSUSB was unable to overcome the 4-0 gap the Otters made in the first inning, falling to Cal St. Monterey Bay, 10-3.
The lead pitcher for the Yotes was
Nate Mendoza who pitched for five innings throwing 100 pitches and collected three strikeouts. The biggest hit of the night was by
Riley Parker who hit his fourth homerun on the season in the fifth inning for an RBI.
CSUSB collected six hits, three RBIs, and eight assists on the game. Garret Macias led the Yotes in hits as he collected two hits, one of which was a double.
