ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Heading into the series the Yotes had an overall record of 17-30. The Seawolves led the series 2-0 at the start of the day. Sonoma State continued to keep the Yotes off the scoreboard as they won both games and closed the series 4-0.
In the first game the leading pitcher for the Yotes was
Brooklyn Blackmon who pitched for three innings collecting one strikeout and one earned run.
Alexis Aguado put CSUSB on board with a sacrifice fly allowing
Kaylee Williamson to run across home plate. The Yotes collected three hits and seven assists on the game. The Seawolves took the first game 2-1.
Natalie Carlos pitched a complete game for CSUSB in the closing game of the series collecting three strikeouts. The Yotes struggled at bat, connecting with three hits on the game two of which were by
Tereise Tosi. CSUSB was unable to cross the plate as Sonoma State won the second game, 2-0.
CSUSB is scheduled to play their next game on Friday, April 1
