ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The Yotes hosted the Cal St. Los Angeles Golden Eagles for the opening night of there series. CSUSB toppled the Eagles, 7-4.
The leading pitcher for the Yotes was
Jackson Gilmore who pitched for a total of 72 pitches on the game. Closing the game for CSUSB was
John Pfeffer who pitched a total of 55 pitches collecting five strikeouts on the game.
Macias hit a home run in the third inning for a single RBI. Csakan also hit a home run in the fifth inning. The Yotes collected 10 hits on the night and 11 assists.
"It was a great team win. Gilmore did exactly what we needed from him to keep us in game Mota and Pfeffer were light out. Our offense gave us just enough tonight to pull off a Friday night win. Had the 2 big blasts from Macias and Csakan that really helped keep us on top.
CSUSB continues their series against Cal St. LA with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 25
