SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Yotes closed the series against the Cal St. San Marcos Cougars with a substantial victory. CSUSB had an amazing at bat in the fifth inning scoring nine runs to beat the Cougars, 10-3.
Leading pitcher for the Yotes was
Raul Salazar who pitched for seven innings collected five strike outs in 96 pitches.
Jake Borst would hit the first homerun for CSUSB in the fourth inning and
Giovanni Del Negro would follow with a homerun in the fifth inning.
Brandon Galindo hit a triple on the right field line for a three RBI in the fifth inning. Garret Macias hit a single to right field in the fifth inning for two RBI's. In total the Yotes scored nine runs in the fifth inning. CSUSB collected 11 hits, 10 RBI's, and eight assists on the game.
CSUSB is scheduled to play their next game on Friday, March 25
