SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Yotes faced off with the Central Washington University Wildcats for their last game of the series. Heading into the, the Yotes were up on Central Washington, 3-1. CSUSB scored big on the third inning, but the Wildcats consistency won the game. Central Washington won in extra innings, 10-9.
Leading pitcher for the Yotes was
Scott Kato who collected eight strikeouts during the five innings he pitched.
Giovanni Del Negro connected on three hits including one homerun for one RBI.
Jake Borst collected two hits, including one home run, and four RBI's.
Brandon Galindo also connected on three hits, for two RBI's and had two stolen bases.
"Proud of our team on the weekend" said coach
Mike Nadeau. "They played hard and kept us in every game. We had our chances but could not get that last one across. It was a long weekend, and we need to get our guys some rest and prepare for next weekend."
CSUSB is scheduled to play their next game on Sunday, February 20
