SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB women's basketball team defeated Lincoln University on Tuesday night by a score of 80-64. With the win, the Yotes improve to 2-1 on the season while also scoring 80 or more points for the second time in three games. CSUSB has not had multiple 80-point wins in the same season since the 2017-18 campaign - and they've already done it in the first week.
Tuesday night was the definition of a team win as all 14 players that entered the game for the Yotes scored at least three points.
Destiny Jackson led the scoring for the third consecutive game, collecting 11 points to bring her season total to 47. Jackson now ranks second in the CCAA in scoring this season, sitting just one point behind Lily Buggs of Cal State Los Angeles for the most in the conference.
Mia Finnie,
Olivia Lee, and
Mia Dufresne followed Jackson - each scoring eight points.
Deja Bleu also scored seven points and led the team with seven rebounds in the game. In total, the Yotes scored 45 points off the bench while also collecting 58 inside the paint.
Lindsey Claude was responsible for nearly the entire Oaklanders offense, scoring an impressive 39 points while shooting 14-for-20 from the free throw line.
