SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB women's soccer team fell to Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday afternoon by a score of 2-1. With the loss, the Yotes now hold a 6-4-1 overall record with a 2-2-1 record in CCAA play. Entering the game, CSUSB held an impressive 4-0-1 record at Premier Field this season.
The first half belonged to the Broncos, as they were able to get out to a 1-0 lead in the 9
th minute of the game. They would enter the second half with the same energy, taking a 2-0 lead in the 55
th minute.

Kaylen Gonzalez scored her first goal as a Yote. This comes one game after recording her first two assists of the season against Cal State Dominguez Hills this past Sunday. Despite scoring in the final ten minutes and gaining significant momentum, the Yotes would fall just short of a comeback and the game would conclude with a final score of 2-1.
