SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB men's soccer team tied with No. 10 Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday afternoon, moving to 4-3-4 on the season with a 0-3-2 record in CCAA play.
The nationally-ranked Broncos took a 1-0 lead in the 15
th minute on a goal by Christian Miramontes. They would maintain the lead for the remainder of the first half.
The Yotes evened the game in the 50
th minute on a goal by junior
Paul Iniguez, whose shot deflected off a defender to evade the goalkeeper to bring the score to 1-1.
There were numerous opportunities for both teams to score in the remaining 40 minutes, yet neither were able to take the lead or secure the win.
In total, the Yotes took 10 shots to CPP's five, with both teams putting two on goal.
