ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The CSUSB women's volleyball team fell to a talented 18-6 Sonoma State on Saturday afternoon, losing three sets to one in their final road match of the regular season. With the loss, the Yotes fall to 18-5 on the season with a 12-4 record in conference play. They also sit alone at second place in the CCAA standings, trailing first place Cal State Los Angeles by two.

Entering Saturday's match, the Yotes held a 19-2 all-time record on Sonoma State's campus. However, the Seawolves came out strong and ultimately took three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-16. The Yotes were able to claim the second set, winning 25-20.

The Yotes struggled to finish their attacks, recording a .214 team hitting percentage to SSU's .318.

The attack was led by sophomore Savannah Hoffman, who recorded 14 kills in the match. The Rialto native also recorded three digs while swinging .353 on 34 attempts.
