CARSON, Calif. – The CSUSB women's soccer team shut out the Toros in Carson on Sunday afternoon, winning 3-0 to improve to 6-3-1 on the season. The Yotes improve to 2-1-1 in conference play while the CSUDH falls to 0-4.
Junior
Nathaly Losada Lucumi broke the scoreless tie in the 21
st minute with her fifth goal of the season. The Bogota, Columbia native now leads the team in scoring and is tied for third in the CCAA in goals scored this season. She was assisted by fellow junior
Kaylen Gonzalez, her first of the season.
Five minutes later, freshman
Emma Frausto scored the first goal of her collegiate career on a one-touch shot in the goal box. Frausto was fed a perfect ball from Gonzalez, who collected her second assist of the game.

th minute, freshman forward
Emilee Perez sealed the win with her second goal of the season coming from penalty kick.
Senior goalkeeper
Carly Luna captured her fifth shutout of the season in Sunday's victory while also recording five saves. It is Luna's 12
th career shutout, placing her fifth among all-time CSUSB goalkeepers.
