No. 16 Yotes Remain Undefeated at Home With Sweep

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB women's volleyball team swept Cal State East Bay on Saturday night, improving to 12-3 on the season while also remaining undefeated at home. The win allowed the Yotes to claim sole possession of third place in the CCAA standings, as both CSUSB and CSUEB were tied at 5-2 in conference play heading into the match.

Saturday's sweep marks the third consecutive match that the Yotes have pulled out the brooms against their opponents, winning all three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-18, and 25-15. In addition, the Yotes have now won 15 consecutive matches against CSUEB, dating back to 2012.

Sophomore Ashley Robinson once again led the CSUSB attack, racking up 13 kills on 29 attempts with a .414 hitting percentage. The Tucson, AZ native continues to lead the team with 130 kills on the season.

Setter Marlee Nunley recorded 28 assists on the night, bringing her season total to 455. That places her fourth in the CCAA in total assists while also ranking fifth in assists per set at 7.71.

The accuracy of Lydia Morohunfola's attacks continued to impress against the Pioneers, as the redshirt senior recorded her seventh game of the season with a hitting percentage over .500 in at least nine attempts. Her .432 hitting percentage on the season now ranks 8th in all of NCAA Division II.
