SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB men's soccer team honored six seniors on Sunday at Premier Field. Before the game, seniors #18 Victor Chavez, #5 Noah Dollenmayer, #28 Neil Gillies, #12 Eduardo Rodriguez, #6 Isaac Balderrama, and #8 Jeronimo Valdepena were joined by friends and family in a pregame ceremony on the field.
 
The game between the Yotes and the Wildcats remained scoreless through both the first and second halves, finishing in a 0-0 tie. This is the Yotes' sixth tie of the season, moving them to 5-3-6 overall with a 1-3-4 record in conference.  
 
Paul Iniguez, Nicklaus Sullivan, Rodriguez, and Valdepena all attempted multiple shots in the game. The Yotes outshot their opponent 11 to two, including seven shots in the second half. Goalkeeper Aiden Hanes earned his fifth shutout of the 2022 season, recording one save on the Wildcat's one shot on goal.
 
 
Up Next
The Yotes will finish out the regular season on a three-game road trip, starting with Sonoma State this Friday, October 21st. They will then take on San Francisco State on Sunday, October 23rd, followed by Cal State San Marcos on Thursday, October 27th.
 
Additionally, should the Yotes qualify, the first round of the CCAA tournament will begin on October 30th.
