SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - In the first quarter CSU San Marcos shot 76.9 percent going 10-13 from the field. The Yotes struggled scoring, shooting at 23.1 percent from the field. CSU San Marcos took the lead going into the second quarter, 28-10.
The second quarter the Yotes slowly chiseled away at the Cougars lead, improving their field goal percentage to 42.9 percent. Also, CSUSB upped their defense keep Cal State San Marcos shooting at 29.4 percent. The Yotes did not allow a single three-pointer from the Cougar in the second quarter. Cal State San Marcos was still in the lead going into halftime, 40-31.
In the third quarter the Cougars picked up their pace and spread the floor. They shot 53.8 percent from the field and outrebounded the Yotes 14-6. They would only expand this lead in the fourth quarter, eventually winning the game, 75-48.

Samantha Henley led the Pack in points, scoring 18 points on the game and collected three rebounds and one steal.
Mia Dufresne controlled the board, grabbing eight rebounds and had four steals and six points.
Destiny Jackson added eight points, three rebounds, and one steal.
CSUSB is scheduled to play their next game on Thursday, January 27
