IRVINE - The Yotes battled it out at Concordia Irvine on Wednesday with nine total shots on goal, but none hitting the target. Both teams would finish the match scoreless ending in a 0-0 tie in double overtime.

The Yotes would finish the match with 19 total shots against Concordia's 12 shots for the game.
Francisco Gomez would take four shots on goal including one in the first overtime.
Gerardo Flores would take the last shot of the match on target in the 109
th minute.

CSUSB had nine shots on goal as Concordia finished with three shots on goal. This brings Yotes all-time record against Concordia to 3-2-1.

"This was our first test of the season and we had to compete on the road. Concordia is a strong opponent and we were able to learn a lot about ourselves," head coach
Josh Hill said. "We dug deep and we walked away with a point. We are always striving for more, but lots of positives to build on as we move forward."
