DUPONT, WASHINGTON – CSUSB took 8
th place in their first competition of the year and finished third on-pars with 174. The Saint Martin's Invite hosted 12 teams for a total of 68 golfers on a 72-par course.
Jetty Sivongsay placed the highest for the Yotes finishing the invitational tied for 13
th place overall. On the first day of competition Sivongsay shot three-under par, second day he shot two-over par, and third day he finshed with a one-under par for a +1 on the tournament.
Finishing up next for CSUSB was
Mark Williams who tied for 19
th place overall. Williams shot for par on the first day of competition, the second day he shot two-under par, and the last day he finished six-over par.
David Marris had a great weekend in Washington, finishing the tournament tied for 26
th place overall. Marris shot five-over par the first day, one-under par the second, and closed the weekend with 2-over par.
The Yotes continue their stay in Washington as they pivot to the Western Washington Invitational from Sunday September 26
