Box Score SAN MARCOS - In the first half of the match, Yotes defense in
Rebeca Cruz,
Rebekka Bogan,
Alaina O'Connell, and
Danielle Landrum kept the Cougars to only two shots on goal. It wasn't until the 44
th minute that CSUSM hit their first goal. Cougars went into the half with the lead, 1-0.

Going into the second half,
Carly Luna would add two more saves for a total of three on the game. The Yotes offense would put the pressure on the Cougars taking a total of five shots.
Jessica Hernandez collected two shots on the game and
Vidalia Abarca collected two shots.

The Cougars went on to score their last goal of the match in the 60
th minute, taking the game 2-0.

"Today's match leaves us with a very similar feeling as our last one" said Coach
Mark Peters. "Our performance was very good for long periods of the game, but a couple mistakes mean we don't get the result we want. We are still learning our lessons, but with conference play around the corner, we better learn quickly."
