SAN BERNARDINO - The Yotes put the pressure on the Eagles with a goal in the 18
th minute by
Eduardo Rodriguez assited by
Gerardo Flores. As a collective, the Yotes took eight shots while their defense kept the Eagles from landing a single goal in the first half.
In the 48
th minute, Biola squeezed in their only goal of the game. Goalkeeper
Juan Nieves would not allow another goal to pass, collecting four saves on the game.
Closing out the win for the Yotes was
Neil Gillies with a goal in the 73
rd minute assisted by
Jeronimo Valdepena.
"It has been fun to see all the boys contribute and today we got to see them get behind each other once again" said coach
Josh Hill. "Every outing we learn something new about ourselves and where we need to improve. Today was a great opportunity to get better and get ready for the next match."
