Box Score CARSON – The Yotes outscored CSU Dominguez Hills on the road in the second half on Thursday, but could not overcome a 11-point halftime deficit and fell 69-61.
 
Destiny Jackson led the Yotes in scoring with 13 points, followed by 
Jaida Jackson and 
Kaelyn Blackwell who had 12 each.  
Tatianna Russell grabbed 10 rebounds to the lead the team.  An early surge from the Yotes early in the second half had them down just six, 46-52, but the Toros largely held them off from there.
 
The Yotes made five threes, three more than CSUDH, but were outrebounded badly allowing 21 offensive rebounds for 16 second-change points for the Toros.
 
The Yotes will look to finish the 2021 portion of the season on the right foot at Cal State East Bay at 1 pm on Saturday.
