SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Yotes found their rhythm early in the first set, winning 25-10. The Gators were barely in double digits in the first set but came out ready for rally after rally. With the onslaught of shots taken at the Yotes, CSUSB had a defensive showing that seemed impossible to beat. CSUSB took the second set, 25-21. The Yotes would hit their stride once more in the third set, closing the game, 25-14.
The leader for the Yotes in kills was
Alexis Cardoza as she collected 13 on the game and had 11 digs and two aces. Close behind was
Jalyn Hayes connecting 10 kills (.588), three blocks and three block assists.
Jenna Patton tallied nine kills on the game hitting at a .563.
Asia Clarke had a great defensive showing with 20 digs on the match and had five kills.
Makena Overbey collected 17 digs and five assists.
Marlee Nunley finished the night with 31 assists, eight digs, and two kills.
