SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Yotes going into this match held a 22-2 record against Cal State LA. The match went to the fourth set when Cal State LA took the first match. CSUSB went on to take the next three sets, downing the Golden Eagles, 3-1.
Leading the way for the Yotes in kills was
Jenna Patton who collected 14 kills (.500) and had three blocks and three digs.
Asia Clarke added 12 kills, 13 digs and 3 block assists.
Alexis Cardoza had 11 kills, eight digs and three blocks.
Melissa Garciglia also hit double-digits with 10 kills.
Leading in blocks for CSUSB was
Jalyn Hayes who denied six shots for the Golden Eagles. Hayes also collected 10 kills on the match and had the highest hitting percentage on the night with a .526.
Marlee Nunley arranged the offense with 46 assists and lead the Yotes in digs with 16. Coming in on the defensive end for CSUSB was Makena Overbay, and
Leilia To'omalatai collected 15 digs each.
