SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Yotes started the match with a defensive intensity that was mirrored by Cal State LA. The first half CSUSB held the Golden Eagles to only two shots. The Yotes were able to squeeze in six shots as a team but were not able to connect. The half would end with a score of, 0-0.
The second half Cal State LA put the offensive pressure on CSUSB with eight shots against Yotes two shots in the half. The score would remain the same for most of the second half. It was at the 77
th minute that the Golden Eagles hit the game winning goal. The thirteen minutes after the goal was not enough for the Yotes to even the score. Cal State LA walked away with the victory, 1-0.
