Box Score SAN FRANCISCO – A close game at half got away in the third quarter from the Yotes as they started 2020 dropping a 49-77 decision at San Francisco State on Thursday night.
 
The Coyotes trailed by just six at the half, but were outscored by 14 in the third quarter.  By the end, Kayla Bibb led CSUSB with 13 points and Tatianna Russell scored eight with seven rebounds.  Ashlynn Sharp added eight. 
 
The Yotes shot 31.8 percent from the field, but the Gators shot 56.1 percent, with neither team shooting the three ball too well.  The Gators largely held the Yotes to one shot, controlling the glass 39-22. 
 
The Coyotes will look to get back on the right foot on Saturday at 1 pm at Sonoma State.  Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
