SAN BERNARDINO – The CSUSB Coyotes finished the D2 West Region Showcase in style at home, downing Point Loma 3-0 hitting .463 as a team.
The Yotes dominated all three sets, 25-13, 25-16, and 25-22, in control throughout. Sascha Dominique had 11 kills at a .625 clip and Alexis Cardoza added 13 at .385. Stephanie Doak had eight and Lydia Morohunfola had seven.
The Coyotes dominated at the net, 9-5, with Dominique and Mikaela Grove sending three back each.
"We executed really well tonight and had a great time playing in this environment," Doak said.
The Coyotes begin the CCAA season on the road next week on Thursday at 7 pm at Sonoma State.
