CSUSB Freshman
Frank Daroma was selected to the CCA All-Region Second Team, announced Wednesday.
Â
The CCAA Freshman of the Year Daroma, a midfielder, has scored three goals with four assists this season, playing in 16 matches and starting the final 15. He fired 32 shots with over half of them being on goal. The kinesiology major scored two game-winners with over 1000 minutes played. The Yotes have now had All-Region selections as Daroma joins
Danny Ortiz (2018) and
Daniel Looker (2017 and 2016).
"Obviously this is a big honor," Daroma said of the CCAA award last week. "This is a team effort and without my teammates and coaches I would not have this opportunity."

The No. 13 Coyotes have advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010 and will face Cal Poly Pomona in the second round on Saturday at 7 pm in Pomona.
