SAN BERNARDINO – The No. 1 CSUSB Coyotes moved to 23-0 on Friday night with a 3-0 win over visiting Chico State.
The Yotes took the sets 25-13, 25-20, and 25-20.
Alexis Cardoza led the way with 16 kills hitting .571 as
Jalyn Hayes added six kills in the middle.
Stephanie Doak had five kills and the Yotes led in blocks, 14-6, with
Lydia Morohunfola recording six and Doak getting four.
The Coyotes hit .349 while Chico State hit .139 and the Yotes led in aces 8-4 with
Asia Clarke serving three.
"We have been working a lot on blocking lately," Hayes said. "Our communication was great and we set the block really well."
The Coyotes will battle Stanislaus State tomorrow at 7 pm for Senior Night. The Yotes look to cap a perfect 24-0 regular season. Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
