HAYWARD, Calif. – The No. 1 CSUSB Coyotes made quick work of CSUEB on the road on Friday night, winning in three sets, 25-13, 25-16, and 25-21.
Alexis Cardoza and
Stephanie Doak led the Yotes' attack, with 13 and 12 kills respectively.

Leilia To'omalatai added two aces each. To'omalatai added 17 digs as Cardoza had the double-double with 15. Doak hit .320 with just four errors in 25 attempts.
"Tonight was a great match against an East Bay team that has been on the rise," head coach
Kim Cherniss said. "Our middles, Lydia and
Jalyn Hayes, were very impressive offensively tonight. Leilia was so good defending a team that is very unpredictable offensively and can be tough to defend, and she also had an impact from the service line."
As a team CSUSB hit .265, held CSUEB to .082, and led in aces 5-2. The Yotes stay in the Bay Area traveling to San Francisco State on Saturday for a 7 pm match. Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
