SAN BERNARDINO – The No. 1 CSUSB Coyotes rolled to a 3-0 win over visiting Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday night in front of 1200+ rowdy fans as part of Homecoming 2019.

On the court, the Yotes were led in kills by Alexis Cardoza who had 12, as Stephanie Doak added nine.  The Yotes hit .388 and won in blocks, 6-0, with Lydia Morohunfola sending three back.  Marlee Nunley had 29 assists and Cardoza added nine digs as Asia Clarke had eight.

"We always try to control what we do on our side of the net and we did that well tonight," Cardoza said.  "The crowd and environment were awesome tonight.  We are really appreciative of the University for holding such an outstanding event and supporting us. 

Cardoza hit .367 for the Yotes with just one error as her team took the sets 25-13, 25-15, and 25-16.

The Coyotes (17-0, 10-0 CCAA) now head on the road for two weeks beginning with Cal State East Bay at 7 pm next Friday night.  Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
