SAN BERNARDINO – The No. 13 CSUSB Coyotes tied 1-1 with visiting No. 2 Cal State LA on Thursday afternoon at Premier Field.
The Yotes seized control just 11 minutes in on a looping free kick from
Francisco Sierra. CSUSB maintained control of the match until the 49
th minute when a red card put them a man down. They held on until the 84
th minute when LA tied the match.
The Yotes were solid on defense throughout, allowing just five shots on goal with
Jacob Huber making four saves and keeping the draw through overtime to earn the point.
