Daniel Romo each drove in runs in the Coyotes' 6-2 loss at Cal Poly Pomona in CCAA baseball Thursday night
CSUSB (2-11 overall, 2-3 CCAA) and CPP (9-7, 5-0) resume their four-game series Friday in Pomona. First pitch is 2 p.m. The series then moves to Fiscalini Field on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m.
Martinez connected on a one-out single to right that scored Fahr, who led off the game with a walk.
CPP scored two runs in the first and three in the third.
Romo earned his RBI on a ground out to second that scored
Dominic Campeau, who opened the sixth with a double.
Matthew Moriarty took the loss in 2 2/3 innings. He walked four, did not have a strikeout, and gave up five runs — all earned.
