ARCATA (Nov. 10, 2017) — CSUSB completed its regular season with a tune-up 3-0 victory over Humboldt State on Friday night.

Senior OH Lauren Nicholson led the Coyotes (18-7, 14-3 CCAA) with 10 kills and freshman OH Alexis Cardoza kicked in nine in the 25-11, 25-18, 25-11 victory. Junior MB Hailey Jackson added seven and Sascha Dominique five.

CSUSB takes a seven-match winning streak into the CCAA Tournament on Thursday in San Francisco. The Coyotes own the South's top seed and face No. 4 North Cal State Monterey Bay at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at SFSU. HSU finished the season 3-20, 2-15.
 
Powerful three-set win
CSUSB hit .327 (43 kills, 10 errors, 101 attacks) and were solid on set receive with seven service aces and just two receiving errors. The Coyotes hit .548 in the opener and breezed to the victory in a match that took just 75 minutes.

Freshman MB Lydia Morohunfola had five block assists, one solo along with five kills.
