SAN BERNARDINO (Oct. 28, 2017) — Steady and consistent were the hallmarks in CSUSB's 3-0 victory over Stanislaus State on Saturday at Coussoulis Arena.
 
The victory
CSUSB improved to 15-7 overall and 11-3 in league play, while the Warriors dropped to 2-20, 2-12. It marked CSUSB's seventh 3-0 home win in as many matches.
 
Who stood out
This was a team victory in which 13 Coyotes saw action. Senior OH Lauren Nicholson, one night after hitting an NCAA best 29 kills in a three-set match, and junior MB Hailey Jackson each had 11 kills. Sophomore Moira Murphy added seven and Kaili Scott five in the 25-9, 25-12, 25-20 victory.
 
On the set
Junior S Jayann DeHoog set up her teammates with 31 assists.
 
Ace High
Freshman Alexis Cardoza featured three of CSUSB's four service aces. She also led in digs with 12.
 
The numbers
CSUSB hit .352 (42/11/88) and dealt a 69 percent sideout effort. Stanislaus State hit -.-011 (21/22/94).
