Lauren Nicholson led four Coyotes in double-figure kills efforts, but the end result went against CSUSB in a five-set loss Friday at Cal State San Marcos.

The Coyotes dropped to 11-7, 7-3 CCAA, while the host Cougars are 10-7, 7-2 after their 25-19, 25-20, 24-26, 20-25, 15-9 victory.
At the forefront
Nicholson fired off 15 kills with 21 digs, with
Moira Murphy dealing 13 kills. Freshman
Alexis Cardoza had 11 and
Hailey Jackson 10.

CSUSB hit just .157 with 32 attack errors in just its second five-set loss in 2017.
