Box Score 2 TURLOCK (April 2, 2016) -- CSUSB bounced back with an impressive 7-3 victory over Saint Martin's after losing 8-6 in 10 innings to Concordia, Ore., in the second day of play at the Tournament of Champions, hosted by Stanislaus State.
The Coyotes (20-21 overall) complete the tourney in Sunday's games against Western Oregon and Dominican.

The Coyotes suffered a difficult loss after they led 4-0 through six innings.
Sam Owirka tied the game at 4-4 with a grand slam and helped her team to the extra-innings victory.
Monica Maddox led the Coyotes at the plate with four hits, and
Morgan Ratliff and
Jessica Angulo each had three hits.
Ratliff also led in RBI with three.

Trailing 3-2 through four innings, the Coyotes struck back with a five-run fifth and held on for the victory.
Amanda Herrera keyed the fifth with a two-run double to left center, and two batters later,
Taylor Ancona singled in
Kaylee Gemmell.
Jessica Brown, who singled through the left side, later scored.
Herrera had three singles, and Maddox capped an outstanding day with two more hits.
Amanda Ramirez earned the victory in 6 1/3 innings with three strikeouts and just four hits allowed.
