Box Score 2 CARSON (March 5, 2016) -- Twenty-five games into the 2016 season, the Coyotes have made the CCAA and West Region take notice.
CSUSB extended its winning streak to seven straight and winners in 11 of the last 13 in Saturday's series sweep over Cal State Dominguez Hills, 9-5 and 6-4. The Coyotes are off to their best stretch of success over 25 games in 18 seasons at 17-8 overall and 12-4 in the CCAA.

Morgan Ratliff was a one-woman wrecking crew for the Coyotes, going 3-for-4 with six RBI as CSUSB raced to a 9-0 lead through 2 1/2 innings.
Ratliff connected on a bases-clearing double in the second, then came through with a repeat performance in the third for the one-sided lead.
CSUSB dominated with a 15-hit performance, thanks to multiple-hit games by Ratliff, Jessica Angula,
Amanda Herrera,
Arianna Hernandez and
Monica Maddox.
All season long, Coyotes success on the mound has belonged to junior LHP
Cassandra Williams, who threw three innings with four strikeouts. Freshman
Jackie DeLoza (2-0) earned the win, giving up three hits over the final four innings.
Game 2: Coyotes 6, CSU Dominguez Hills 4CSUSB withstood three solo home runs by the Toros for the victory.
Ancona went 4-for-4 with two doubles as the Coyotes capitalized on four Toros' errors.
Down 2-0, the Coyotes tied the game in the fourth with two unearned runs. They grabbed the lead for good with a three-run sixth with an RBI from Angulo on a single to second.
The Coyotes pushed across their sixth run, thanks to
Ashley Leffingwell's lead-off home run to center.
Gabby Walker earned the win with a strikeout in 2/3rds of an inning. Williams came on in the seventh for her second save of the year.
