Kaylee Gemmell provided a two-run double, but it was not enough in the Coyotes' 5-4 loss to Central Washington in the final day of the Desert Stinger Tournament on Sunday.
CSUSB (5-2 overall) continues its nonconference schedule with a doubleheader Wednesday against visiting Hawaii-Hilo at Coyote Softball Park.

CWU answered with back with runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, before CSUSB mounted a comeback in the sixth.
Gemmell ripped a one-out double that scored
Monica Maddox and Ariana Hernandez, but the Coyotes fell short.
Cassandra Williams earned the start and scattered 11 hits, five runs (one earned) with four strikeouts.
