SEASIDE (Nov 4, 2016) — Lauren Nicholson played a pivotal role in the second half success during last year's play. Based on her effort Friday night, she is heading in the same direction.
Nicholson led the 17
th-ranked Coyotes with 14 kills, and added 10 digs and three aces in their 3-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay. CSUSB has now won nine straight and improved to 18-4 overall and 12-2 and tops in the CCAA.
Nicholson was far from alone in leading the way.

Hailey Jackson each had three aces with All-American
Malika O'Brien digging out 12 digs with eight kills. DeHoog also had 28 assists and 10 digs and senior libero
Abbey Vollkommer with 12 digs.
CSUSB hit .226 in the 25-9, 25-22, 25-22 win over the Otters (10-12, 5-10).
