SAN MARCOS (Oct. 28, 2016) — No. 18 CSUSB made quick work of Cal State San Marcos in its 3-0 win in CCAA play Friday night.
Junior OH
Lauren Nicholson led the Coyotes (16-4, 10-2 CCAA) with 19 kills and a .348 attack percentage in the 25-20, 25-12, 25-18 victory. CSUSB extended its winning streak to seven and now prepares for Saturday night's match at UC San Diego.
CSUSB hit .331 (47 kills, 7 errors, 121 attacks) and took advantage of CSUSM's 19 attack errors for the victory.

Abbey Vollkommer popped out 19 digs as CSUSB totaled 66 in the three-set match. All-American
Malika O'Brien had 14 digs, while
Hannah Barrett had 11 and Nicholson 10.
Freshman
Kaili Scott, O'Brien, and Haley Jackson all had seven kills. Sophomore setter and this week's CCAA Player of the Week
Jayann DeHoog set up 44 assists with seven digs and two block assists.
The Cougars, now 13-9, 6-7, was led by Brooke Butler's 11 kills. They hit .104.
