CARSON (Oct. 21) —
Diego Casillas and
Hieu Ngo connected on goals in the Coyotes' 7-2 loss at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday night in CCAA soccer.
CSUSB, which entered play ranked fourth in the NCAA West Region, dropped to 7-4-1 overall, 5-3-1 CCAA. CSUDH improved to 9-5-1, 6-3.
CSUDH scored three first half goals, and added its fourth just minutes into the second half. The Toros led 5-0 before Casillas connected on his fifth goal of the season in the 55
th minute in the game played at StubHub Center.
Trailing 6-1, Ngo scored his goal on a penalty kick in the 87
th minute.
The Coyotes remain on the road with another difficult contest, this time at Cal State L.A. on Sunday.
