SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 23, 2015) — Ashley Watson converted a penalty kick in the 62
nd minute and that output enabled host San Francisco State past the Coyotes 1-0 in CCAA men's soccer Friday at Cox Stadium.
The victory moved the Gators to 6-6-3 overall and 2-5-3 in the CCAA, while the Coyotes dropped to 3-7-3, 1-5-3.
Not one of the Coyotes' nine shots was on goal. One Coyote shot clanked off the post, but that was close as CSUSB could get in 90 minutes of play.
The Gators had 17 shots in the match, four of them being saved by CSUSB keeper
Ivan Sanchez.
The Coyotes travel to Cal State Monterey Bay for a Sunday match.
