SAN BERNARDINO (Oct. 23, 2015) —The Coyotes extended their California Collegiate Athletic Association volleyball win streak to seven Friday night with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Stanislaus State before 265 fans in Coussoulis Arena.
The victory improved the Coyotes to 18-3 overalll and 11-2 in the CCAA while the Warriors slipped to 12-7, 6-7 in the CCAA.
The win was not without a setback for the Coyotes. All-American middle blocker 
Brenna McIntosh, ranked No. 6 in NCAA Division II in blocks per set, sustained an injury in the first set as CSUSB rolled 25-9. She did not return as CSUSB finished off the Warriors 25-29, 25-13 to complete the sweep
The Coyotes dominated the net, piling up 15.5 blocks, limiting the Warriors to .009 hitting while forcing 28 attack errors.. CSUSB hit .329 for the match with only six errors.
Alexandra Torline led the Coyotes with nine kills and nine digs. 
Lauren Nicholson had eight kills and a team-high 10 digs while 
Ashley Solis contributed eight kills  and five block assists. 
Kaitlyn Christner had eight block assists after McIntosh left the game. Freshman 
Jayann DeHoog had 26 assists from her setting position.
Blair Ehrlich led the Warriors with nine kills. Maddi Seidl had 21 assists. Haley Gruetzmacher had a team-high 10 digs for Stanislaus State.
The victory maintained the Coyotes domination over the Warriors, having not lost to Stanislaus State since 2000. CSUSB leads the series 40-2.
The Coyotes host Chico State at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
