Box Score SAN BERNARDINO (Nov. 14, 2014) -- Cal State San Bernardino grabbed the lead from the outset and rolled to a 72-58 victory over the University of Mary in the women's basketball season opener for both teams at Coussoulis Arena.
Junior
Chelsea Barnes led the Coyotes with 19 points and juniors
Adriana Brodie and
Brianna Harden each had a double-double. Brodie scored 12 points with 16 rebounds including 11 on the offensive end, while Harden had 13 points with 12 boards.
Barnes finished 8-of-12 FGs and Brodie and Harden each broke through the 50-percent level from the field.

Renee Jimenez also received a nice distribution from her team as eight players earned an assist with senior guard
Briana Baker leading with four.
CSUSB pushed the lead to double-digits for good when junior All-CCAA guard
Alexcia Mack canned a 3-pointer with 6:47 left in the first half, putting her team up 27-15.
The Coyotes went into the break leading 39-24 after hitting 50 percent from the field on 16-of-32 shooting.
Defensively, CSUSB held the Marauders to just 24 percent FGs in the first 20 minutes.
In the second half, CSUSB led by as many as 23 on junior
Bisera Peshkova's 3-pointer with 3:34 left and the Coyotes up 70-47.
Mack and Peshkova had eight points, Baker had five with five rebounds and
Chelsea Austin had seven points off the bench.
CSUSB returns to Coussoulis Arena when it takes on Cal Baptist on Tuesday night.
Mary completes the weekend in San Bernardino when it faces UC San Diego at 2 p.m. Saturday in Coussoulis.
Brittney Dietz led Mary with 12 points.
