Britney Butler had two hits in the opener and
Alyssa Flores and
Darian Manuz had two apiece in the second game as the Coyotes were swept at No. 25 Sonoma State, 6-1 and 8-0 in CCAA softball Saturday afternoon.
The Coyotes, who are 8-18 overall and 5-11 CCAA, have lost seven consecutive games and nine in their last 10. They return to Coyote Park this week with a series against Cal State Monterey Bay beginning Friday.

Jacqueline Lopez made sure the Coyotes would not be shutout against Seawolves' ace Samantha Lipperd with a two-out single to third that scored
Na'Tavia Lee, who pinch ran for Flores.
Both Butler hits were singles.
Lipperd twirled a one-hitter against CSUSB in Friday's opener.
Game 2: Sonoma State 8, Coyotes 0 (5 innings)
Flores had the only extra-base hit for the Coyotes on the day with a lead-off double in the second inning.
Manuz had two singles, while
Monica Ferguson and
Victoria Lievanos accounted for the other Coyotes' hits.
